A contracted opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to support student development in a school setting. This role is based in Lumberton, NC, providing a chance to apply your expertise in facilitating students' progress through targeted therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students occupational therapy needs within the school environment.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans to enhance students functional performance.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students academic and social success.
- Document therapy services and maintain accurate reports in compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss progress and adjust strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license with relevant state credentials.
- Experience working in educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric OT assessment tools and interventions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
